Hot Cocoa Pops - Cooking Class

Mr. T and I were home and it was a Friday and we had nothing going on. No preschool that morning, nothing at church, and it's winter in Iowa. We used to go to the library all the time but I think we have gone too many times and Mr. T just needed a break. So we decided to make something from his cookbook. Mr. T decided he wanted to make the Hot Cocoa Pops.

We got out the ingredients and popsicle molds. All Mr. T wanted to do was eat marshmallows and fill up the popsicle molds with as many marshmallows as possible. He did have fun using his new whisk to mix up the hot cocoa. Then we filled up the molds with cocoa and perhaps we had enough left for a cup of cocoa because of how many marshmallows he put in them. Mr. T was pretty thrilled that there was enough for him to drink some too.

Then we had to WAIT! For several hours! So the popsicles could freeze before they could be eaten. It was a good thing we made them in the morning because then when the brothers got home from school they were ready for snack time. Our neighbor two doors down had one too and thought they were great! He wanted to get the recipe for his mom too.
